The phenomenon of shrinking cities confronts us with inhabitant's decline, house empty trinkets or the ending of entreprises in dramatic size. It puts to itself the question after the reconstruction and return building of empty standing living buildings and the contact with industrial-broken and trade-broken. In this situation of a profound economic structural change a city reconstruction is demanded which provides special place-specific, integrative and trend-setting solutions, around the drastic changes consciously to forms. The fact that there is for it already a multiplicity of interesting examples, planned realized like, this publication makes clear in text and picture.
