Sybilla made her grand entrance on the Spanish fashion scene en 1983, and critics soon hailed her as the greatest designer our country had produced since Cristóbal Balenciaga. It might seem difficult to find a unifying thread in her production; yet, as this exhibition intends to show, that invisible thread does exist and is present in the languages that allow her to ramain pplayfylly elusive and lend coherence to her entire body of work.
