The architects Karl Heinz, Dieter Mathoi and Jörg Streli have cooperated for 33 years. What makes this cooperation special is that they have realized projects as a team and individually since they started their partnership. Their joint work incudes prominent projects such as the hospital care school in Feldkirch, the wood workshops for the Mödling Polytechnic School and a number of buildings for the M_Preis foodstore chain. The book also includes the expansion of the Innsbruck Frauen-Kopf Clinic, the most recent Heinz-Mathoi-Streli project (completion 2008). The project documentation also includes a selection of projects they have realized under their individual names.
Friedrich Achleitner and Otto Kapfinger discuss the significance of the work of Heinz-Mathoi-Streli in their contributions and explore the influence this architecture cooperative has had on the architecture scene in Tyrol and Austria.
