Today sustainability is one of the most important and relevant themes within the architectural profession. Climate problems and limited energy resources necessitate a need to focus on low-energy consumption and environmentally friendly architecture. Global Danish Architecture presents a timely survey of 33 Danish projects as designed by 17 studios including: Arkitema, C.F. Møller Architects, Henning Larsen Architects, Entasis and Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. Projects include residential housing, hotels, cultural buildings, childcare institutions and industrial buildings - many still under construction - and come complete with illustrations, technical drawings and texts and interviews with different architects.
