Latin American houses.- Throughout the American continent we find a heterogeneous architectural production. The house remains the centerpiece where all challenges are present with the same intensity. Space, structure, volume, forms, for a purpose that continues to renew itself in the professional activity, which is the "opera prima" of architects, which does not only focus on set expectations for future users but on the aspirations of the architect. With the passage of time, and in spite of years of practice, the house is for the architect the meeting point of aspirations and imagination, which brings together the continent and professionals in a common search. And when the architect makes his own home, the combination can develop into the materialization of other purposes that transcend both stimuli, leaving an even deeper trace.
