The exhibition shows two different themes - on the one hand, the dinnerware porcelains of the first decades of the Carlo Ginori manufactory at Doccia near Florence together with their multifaceted and imaginative models from the Viennese Du Paquier manufactory, and, on the other hand, the sculpture production at Doccia, charmingly juxtaposed to its antique models and to Florentine baroque sculpture, including original bronzes, wax and terracotta models.
More than three hundred exhibits are on display. In addition to items from the Princely Collections, works from renowned European and North American private collections and museums are on view. Some of the exhibition items are shown outside the palaces of their owners for the first time in 250 years.
