In continuity with the YearBook 01, the text presents 87 projects by Roman architects completed in Italy and worldwide in 2016/2017. These projects had different intended uses and planning requirements, and used technology and materials in diverse ways. The new publication aims at spreading knowledge on the professional figure of the architect. The examples show the level reached by Italian architecture, author creativity, and shape variability, in accordance with modern lifestyles and the increased need for affordability and cost efficiency. Clearly, economic limitations have not affected the innate elegance of Italian architecture.
