This second volume cataloging the Islamic material at the Royal Library, Copenhagen, describes 94 manuscripts and three lithographed prints acquired in the early 20th century. Most of the manuscripts date from the 19th century, with the oldest dated to 910 AH (1504 CE). The vast majority of the texts deal with Twelver Shi'i (Imami) law and legal theory, though Arabic grammars and books on rhetoric also form major subject categories. Also cataloged are a number of Sunnu and Shi'i theological texts.
