This year the highly successful publication Architecture in the Netherlands presents more than 40 projects, selected and discussed by the new editorial team.
Eight trends are explained by means of an architectural critical essay. In addition, about 25 selected projects realized in 2000 are considered in detail, along with a wealth of illustrations.
These detailed studies include projects by architects such as Frits van Dongen (de Architekten Cie.), Cepezed, Erick van Egeraat, Huijbregts Poiesz, Humblé Neuhof, Marx & Steketee, Max.1, Meyer en Van Schooten, Enric Mirailles, Neutelings Riedijk, Onix, Erik Warmelink, Robert Winkel and Zeinstra van der Pol.
This yearbook also takes a look at successful projects by Dutch architects that were realized beyond the borders of the Netherlands, including the Dutch Pavilion by MVRDV for Expo 2000 in Hanover and the NL Lounge by NL Architects in Venice
