The works of the Australian architect Kerry Hill are firmly rooted in modernism and questions about its relevance in this day and age, while also being situated in the context of the land and its culture. The 16 selected projects presented here consist of various typologies and locales, ranging from houses to institutions, with a focus on those in the Asia Pacific region. Alongside smaller private projects, the major works featured here - all newly photographed for this issue - include 'Amankora in Bhutan, 'ITC Sonar Bangla, and the 'Aman New Delhi, both in India. Illustrated throughout and accompanied by technical drawings, essays and an interview with the architect.
