Over 300 completed buildings make Baumschlager-Eberle one of today's most successful architecture offices at an international level. The high degree of acceptance for their work results from the concept of linking their client's wishes with immediate usability value and cultural sustainability, while still leaving enough space for the realization of aesthetic visions. Some of the most representative recent projects are the expansion of the Vienna airport, the UNAIDS project in Geneva, high-rises in Peking, the clinical center in Kortrijk, Belgium and the Munich Rückversicherung building. Acclaimed authors such as Hubertus Adam, Otto Kapfinger, Christian Kühn and Ingeborg Flagge, approach Baumschlager-Eberle's architecture from markedly different perspectives: they write about the characteristics of the art of construction and the media used to convey architectural understanding, including design rendering, model construction and photography.
